I like the composition. It looks like you relied on the meter for exposure here. Since this scene is way brighter than a mid tone, the meter caused about two stops of underexposure by trying to make the snow and overcast sky 18% gray.

Lovely idea-nice composition. E.J. has said it all- it might be possible to lighten up the blue-gray cast a bit.

Good composition.
Yes, brightening up a bit would improve this.
