Rumbling Kern - Northumberland, England
GFX-50S, 32-64mm @ 37mm (~31mm FF equiv.), ISO 200, f/11, 1/25s
Just messing around at Rumbling Kern, a great place for abstracts in the landscape.  I hadn't really intended on ever posting this anywhere but folks that have seen all the shots from my recent UK trip seem to respond to this one so here it is...

I'm sure its appeal is related to happy childhood memories of playing in rock pools on the beach, as I used to do.  You never knew what you might find, from the different stones and shells to the tiny crabs lurking under the rocks.  That will endear it to many, and apart from that its a great abstract!  :)

I also see the large rock as a sleeping giant laying on his back......with a contented smile..

Love it...esp the vibrant green that draws attention.
Carol has me seeing things too this time...but I see a happy dragon with the green being his right eye....lol
