Taken in Michigan's Eastern Upper Peninsula on north shore of Lake Huron.   The decent waves this morning entered a 6-8 feet high ice cave.  Rarely, a rebounded wave going back out would combine with a wave coming in that had not yet crested, and yield this type of result.

Yes.  I got wet, and it was 10 degrees F outside, so the water drops froze, but my home was less than 100 yards away.

Well captured. I like the powerful feel to the wave.

Such a unique and fascinating structure- I have never seen anything like it. I like the contrasting splashes, sky, and the whole chilly feel of this. Glad you got home before your feet froze!
