Eclipse with stars

I wish I'd used a longer lens for this, but I rather like the colors in the stars. This is one of my few attempts at night photography-a lot yet to learn, I think. Please click for a better view.  Comments welcome.

Nikon D750, 300 f/4 lens, o.6 sec, f/7.1,ISO 8000, manual, tripod. Frozen fingers!

Nice detail in the Moon. Yes, the stars add a lot to the image. Frankly I like the wider than traditional view as it really makes the Moon just hang there in space and gives a sense of scale.
Remember, a little mild insanity keeps us healthy

Thanks everyone- I might just go out there again for some more attempts on the moon in her more ordinary appearance. Kind of fun.
