Love it. The sky going towards black in the upper right does tend to pull my eye from the formations.

Neat hoodoos and I would love to see that tree!....on my bucket list.
Are there many of those trees lying around?
There are some dust bunnies in the sky....and several dark blotches...not sure what is going on there?

John, there is petrified wood throughout the San Juan Basin. This one is the longest one that I saw but there were larger diameter trunks in De-Na-Zin.
Seems that my sensor need cleaning!

Lovely perspective on these great formations. Not sure what the dark blotches/patches are in the sky, but the scene as a whole is very nicely done.
