Taken in Michigan's Upper Peninsula - Presque Isle River.  The steep bank on the other side was dappled with morning light.  To the left side of the image at the midway point a good sized rock is visible under the surface (and at the middle of the image a little further back from that point).  This river has waterfalls along its course so foam is carried to its calmer sections.

I think I would love this without the bubbles. With them, there is just too much competition for the subject which is the reflection.

I like the idea here...but the foam distracts too much.
Technically...I'm seeing a lot of purple fringing...

This image, for me, is about what is real and what is illusion. The reflection represents the illusion, the bubbles - the real, the underwater rocks - what the viewer is confounded by, because they seem like reflection but are not.
