Dark Hollow Falls - Virginia
Like an idiot, I flew right into the path of Tropical Storm Michael - the same storm that wiped out the Florida Panhandle 18 hours before this picture was taken as Hurricane Michael. 2 hours after I took this, the storm hit Virginia with full force, rain the likes of which I have never seen, sustained winds at 50 MPH and wind gusts up to 80 MPH along the ridge tops of the Virginia Mountains stripping every leaf, downing trees, dropping the temperature by 40 degrees in an hour...a7R III, 16-35mm @ 35mm, ISO 200, f/9, 1s E.J.
