Sonoran Desert - Arizona
a7R III, 14mm, ISO 3200, f/2, 25sec (12 exposures)
Testing out the new Sigma 14mm f/2.8 Art for Sony FE this weekend.  I drove about an hour out into the desert to an area I know with some boulders.  The lights in the distance are from Tucson, 70 miles away.

This is 12 identical exposures aligned and stacked in Starry Landscap Stacker to eliminate noise, satellites, planes, etc by using median stacking.

Wonderful composition! Is the perfectly positioned 'cauldron' collecting the falling milky way, or spewing it out?

Fantastic image. Love it!

Very nice - a simplistic comp to show off the key elements.
