my 2 cents Bob.  I prefer your original.  

Not disagreeing with John and Ej, but I do feel with the problem on getting useful assessment is what medium we are using to make that assessment.  EG.  Can imagine the original looks great large viewed as a print  and as presented what I would love to see.  

Presented here, can understand a crop suggestion as an internet image.  (my personal take is that internet needs a "IMPACT " job for the dreaded "clicks" and real world values needs to see as is, aka the larger view).  

Either way Bob, you have a beautiful image that you should show in the manner you see  fit.

I love them both, Bob - but I prefer the vastness and proportions of the first one, which is slightly lost with this crop.

I like the first crop and the processing on this one. I was there this summer, and spent a wonderful evening watching the sunset on the beach (Rialto).
