A dry hot Spring this year produced many forest fires in our area, forever changing the landscape

I love and hate seeing images like this simultaneously :) Maybe a small crop in from the upper right to get the sun out of dead center. and balance the composition.

Thanks EJ,  I totally agree with you.....there is both an ugliness and a beauty with these fires but it is part of a natural process.
As to the center sun....yeah I went back and forth over that too.
