Each year I lead photo workshops to County Donegal in North West Ireland. The County, particularly its coastline is the most dramatic in Ireland. Despite that, it is probably the least visited county in Ireland.
This is image, is taken near the long abandoned village of An Port. The location is off the beaten track, reached by what can be described as "half a road". On the calmest of days its beautifully quiet, but me, I love to visit when the Atlantic is pounding in, and the skies are stormy. Thankfully when I was there it was just such a day :)

Check out my vlog to get a feel for the location, and if you are ever in Ireland, check it out

Absolutely love this. My kind of location for sure :) Love the shot and the video. I love the first shot you spotlighted in the video a lot. It's rare that shooting downstream on waterfalls works but that shot sure does.

Thanks EJ. When your next back in Ireland, head North West to Donegal, wonderful place to point your lens.

Gorgeous wild coastline, Peter, and beautiful image! The thought that this area isn't full of tourists is an added bonus.

Wild and rugged is my first impression.
Love those pounding waves in the distance.
