Fire Wave - Nevada
P1 XF-IQ3100, 35mm, ISO 50, f/10, 1/10s After almost getting killed by lightning the last time I went to this spot, I was greeted with much better conditions this week, at least for a couple of hours in the morning. By 10:00AM the wind and dust was so extreme I once again had to bail out of the area. I was fortunate to come during the narrow window of just a few days per year where the sun hits the top of the Fire Wave formation first in the morning due to a slight dip in the ridge to the east...
