The Disappearing Lake

Medicine Lake fills to a beautiful blue green color every Spring and Summer only to mysteriously disappear in the late Fall.

That's amazing. The last time I was there in late October it looked more like a braided river than a lake :) Cool shot.

Almost looks like a tidal estuary. Wonderful location, nicely captured. I do like how the color of the foreground grasses balances the scene.
