This is my very first post in this forum. I was on my way to my favorite nearby bird photography location early this morning when I noticed the beautiful sunrise. I especially like the rim lighting around the cloud.

EOS 1D with 100-400 @ 250 mm, AV - 1 (ISO 400, 1/250, f32), cropped from left and top.

Thanks for looking. All comments welcome.

Bruce, the colors and rim lighting are terrific! I'd prefer it with something interesting in the foreground though, but don't know if there were any options.

I like it the way it is. The light and clouds are very nice. However I would like to see this image vertical with the light across the ocean

Very nice!

Everything looks fine to me. There's nothing I would change.

Bruce,

This is super, I really love it. My only nit is that I think the aperature of f32 might have hurt the image by causing some defraction that caused the sun to "star burst" in a not so appealing way. There is alos some light anomolies on the left side that distracts my eye. Other than that, wow, it is neat. Good eye.
