Lunar Eclipse - Arizona

A composite image of yesterday morning's eclipse.  Here in Arizona it went into totality about an hour before sunrise. Please view this image against a dark background by clicking on it.

Okay this is hands down the best image of this event I have ever seen. The progression of the moon phases is spot on but the foreground is what really makes this image awesome. Shooting at 400mm really compresses the image perfectly. Wow!

This is the best I have seen. Really cool! The sagauro frame just makes it! You must have camped in a chair half the night!.?

Wow. superb shot. I love the time laps. Here in the Pacific NW, you are lucky if you can see anything other than dark grey overcast this time of the year.

Wonderful composite, E.J. The desert foreground really makes this one unique!
