a6000 Rokinon 12mm  f2 10 seconds ISO 200

[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]The moon was so bright that I could have read a book.  It, along with the high clouds interfered with seeing the stars.  The clouds however produced an interesting effect in the sky.  The sky is extremely blue and I didn't see how to make it better by adjusting white balance from 4000K or by reducing blue saturation,[/font]

there appears to be a fairly large magenta spot in the trees...mid frame right hand side....
Sky is also darker than it's reflection.

That's some serious blue. Perhaps not a WB change but just a slight desaturation of the blue channel...
