Ord River Delta - Western Australia
P1 XF - IQ3100, 80mm (~55mm FF equiv.), ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/2500s
Another aerial shot from a no-doors helicopter in northwestern Australia.  The Ord River delta and tidal plane has many "tree like" channels and tributaries that make for some of the most interesting aerial photography I've experienced.

I remember when you posted  your first photo from this shoot and my jaw dropped.

This one is just as good.

I am always amazed at the patterns rivers make.  This is wonderful.  It also looks like the vasculature structure of our bodies.

Another wonderful view of these amazing patterns formed by the 'lifeblood' of the waterways through the parched earth! Stunningly beautiful.

The similarity in structure to the veins in vegetation is uncanny. Wonderful image.

Like this one a lot- the tree-like shape is especially appealing-such wonderful patterns in nature echoed in so many ways.
