Waimea Canyon - Kauai, Hawaii
EOS 1Ds, 24-70mm @ 24mm, f/2.8, ISO 200, 1/1000s
I continue to be completely blown away by the capability of today's photo imaging software when processing old files.  Here is a shot taken with the original EOS 1Ds taken is 2004 from a no-doors helicopter processed with Capture One Pro 11 and Topaz Studio.  The amount of detail in this file that these modern tools can extract, compared to what was available back then is just staggering.

Very nice shot. Interesting ..me and my wife took a Heli ride over the Kauai also in 2004 including this canyon. I have similar shots from my Canon PowerShot A70 Point and Shoot. This helicopter had doors and windows.
There is quite a lot  Black tail deer in this canyon.

Incredible! I can almost count the trees. The contrast between the lush green and the rugged mountainside is dramatic.
