Hmm, this makes me wonder of the a6000 has the star-eater issue that the a7 models have... Redo this in summer and get a Milky Way :) There's a bit of a dark rim along the mountain and tree tops.

No, I don't think that this is a star-eater issue as it is only supposed to crop up in bulb mode, exposures over 30 seconds. I had a real focus problem with the PZ 16-50 and am thinking the image may be slightly OOF as well as very noisy because of such a slow lens and low ISO. I used a LOT of NR and I think this affected the IQ. I think I should have increased the ISO to 1600 or 3200 as I ended up increasing exposure in LR by 2.5 stops. This is my first attempt at astro photography and I've got a lot to learn.

I think the use of NR was a little over aggressive here as most of the detail of the landscape portion has been lost.
