Lower Rines Lake - Mississippi

Every year, usually in early November, I try to visit a relatively unknown spot.  I basically pick a location that I haven't been to before and one that I have either never or rarely seen photographs of.  This year I couldn't go in early November and had to push it into early December so I decided on the deep south, one of the few places left with fall color.  I chose southern Mississippi.  Before this, it had been the state I had spent the least amount of time in.  I have been in all 50 states but my time in Mississippi was limited to about 40 minutes prior to this.  I did several days of research on locations to check out while there and came away with a number of images that I really like including this one that was captured during my 3 days and 750 miles of driving within the southern part of the state.

Love the colors and reflection. I would make a large print with this image.
