Well, I hate to be a smart ass, no that's not true as I Love to be a smart ass, so I didn't know Arizona had lakes - I thought it was all desert and saguaros (except for a few mountains here and there)! :D

Well I like this. I like the foreground rocks and their geological history evident in their smooth shape, the lake and the background mountains. The line of the rocks plus the trees make for an interesting foreground as I look through this image to the mountains.

I love the leading lines drawing my eye right to left into the image. Makes me want to walk to the horizon.

I've heard of the granite Dells before...must go there to visit one day!
Really cool and interesting geology here.
Looks like quite a fluctuation in water levels throughout the year....
Darn duck in the lower frame...lol

This is a different view for Duckshop!  Its paddling away like a tiny steam train. :D

Wonderful composition, depth and detail.  Lots to enjoy and lovely play of light throughout the scene.

...and no people! I can't get to that place without a crowd. A strong scene showing off the boulder formations. I expect a dinosaur to come thru any moment. Actually the rock formation in the water looks like a sleeping dinosaur with it's head looking toward the right in the frame.
