Oh, and what a wonderful view you have....totally envious!
Lovely image, BTW.
Query - how do you like the D850?

The 850 is simply astounding. Can't find enough superlatives. Incredible detail, larger LCD screen, touch screen that tilts so I don't (hopefully) have to lie in the mud for eye-level bird on sand shots. The shutter is finally VERY muffled and not scaring people and birds. It is totally silent in Live Mode. Then,  the enlarging ability with 46 MP - that merlin shot I just posted is one of my first D850 shots. On the original image on the screen, the bird is less than nickle-size.
What I DON'T like - and I really hate it - is no on-camera flash. It was so easy to flip it up for a bit of quick fill-flash on macro shots. I'm debating whether to keep one of the D800's with the on-board flash, and dedicate it to macro stuff. Just keep the macro lens on it and have it ready. I don't need 46 MP for macro flowers and bugs.

Beautiful Sandy. I can picture myself having a cup of good coffee watching this scene. Thanks for sharing.

What a pretty view!!! The gull really makes this one and is the icing on the cake here.
Please be careful with the inclusion of manmade elements....
Congrats on getting the D850.

That certainly is some view!  Wonderful mood and must have a very liberating effect. 8)

Wonderful mood. Like the placement of the gull. The structure at the head is a little distracting. Nice shot.
