Shiprock - New Mexico
DJI Mavic Pro, 5mm (~28mm FF equiv), ISO 100, f/2.2, 1/350s
While photographing the spectacular Shiprock formation at sunrise in northwestern New Mexico's Navajo country this week, I found myself wishing for a higher vantage point.  After checking through the legalities I found that I could legally launch my drone to get the exact shot I was wishing for.  I was glad to see that the Mavic performs well even when the temperature is freezing.

Nice lighting and angle. This angle is usually shot from a plane. Hope you made it to Bisti Badlands. You were only about 77 miles away here. A neighbor of mine went there last weekend and said it was great.

According to the EXIF the launch elevation was 5325' and the photo altitude was 5507' so it was 182 feet above the launch point.
