Last Thursday a friend and I hiked up into the San Juan Ridge on Vancouver Island. It is a fairly remote area for around here, which involved about and hour drive on 4x4 only roads, and then about a 2 hour hike each way. When I get the Sigma 24mm f1.4 ART lens, I plan to go up and camp for a few days to try some Milky Way shots. The location is hundreds of miles away from any possible light pollution. Anyway, this is one of the lakes in the area.

You got a beautiful reflection. Your photograph makes me wish I was there. It seems so peaceful.

Beautiful and peaceful. I like the way the trees frame in the large clouds on the right.

Peaceful setting, nice clouds.
The reflection seems to be slightly lighter than the sky...

This is really pretty and very serene.  One little tip, if you had gotten maybe 6 inches higher you could have avoided the merge between foreground grass and the opposite bank.  The reflection is a hair bright as has been mentioned.

Thanks for the tips! I am fairly green when it comes to landscape photography. No idea how the reflection came out so much brighter?? I didn't do anything in processing that I would think would cause that. Anyway, I will pay attention to that next time :)

Did you use a polarizer or a GND filter - those can do that.
