The Butt of Lewis sunset

Yes it really is called the Butt, the northern most point on the Outer Hebrides in Scotland. Despite the high winds we decided to spend a night in the camper parked by the lighthouse, so glad we did or I would have missed this moment.

Finally getting through some of this years summer images. I had purchased the Irix lens for night time shots but we always had clouds or rain overnight. Impressive lens, especially for the price.

5DIV, Irix 15mm @ f13, 3 stop gelatin filter, ISO100. Two exposures because I shoot Canon, sky 1sec, foreground 6sec. :)
