Rode my bicycle on the trail to get this shot. Trail was muddy and having fenders on my bike didn't help. Tires clogged up fast. Mosquitoes tried to carry me away and besides that I was running late. Between swatting mosquitoes and trying to hurry, I got this shot. Nikon D810; Nikon 24-70mm @27mm; f/16; ISO 31. 5 shot composite merged using Nik HDR Efex Pro 2. Processed using CS6; NIK and Topaz filters

A beautiful scene. The overall contrast is a bit flat and a bit of repition in the sky from the clouds moving during the different exposures that make up the HDR gives away the HDR nature of the shot. Reprocessing this with a higher contrast foreground and a single sky shot might really take this to the next level. Some more modern HDR programs allow you to select a single image for parts of the photograph or to blend in a single image into the HDR but HDR Effex is pretty ancient by modern HDR program standards which is why I give you the other ideas for processing above.
