Total Eclipse - Oregon

Total eclipse taken from close to the centreline in Oregon, a little north of Mitchell.  This is a composite of 10 exposures ranging from 1/4000 @ f8 to 1/8 sec @ f5.6, combined with layer masks in PS.  Fixed tripod, manual image alignment, the prominence/chromosphere layer was a blend of two exposures at beginning and end of eclipse and was combined using a color blend layer.    The star Regulus is visible to the lower left of the sun in the frame.

There was a little high cloud in the otherwise clear sky which may be responsible for the halo
