Partial Eclipse

...and this was all we had up here in Northern Maine! At the start we had cloud cover, but it finally cleared out. Composite of 7 Sun images starting with the full Sun on the Left, going through the stages until full cover at 2:38 pm EST (50% maybe) then going back out again until full Sun on the right side.

D500, ISO 100, (bracketed like crazy, then picked the right exposure) combined in PhotoShop CC.

Well done Mark. This has a nice symmetry to it that really helps the composition.

That's even less than we had in the desert SW but I still like the sequence. This was my plan too but a single large persistent cloud kept me from doing this for the lead in part of the sequence.
