E.J.,This is so gorgeous it hurts!   A click for the larger view and I am transported to the moor on the way to Glencoe.......... I can smell the damp earth, the peat bog..... the lochans.........streams.....and heather....    8)

Wonderful scene. Looks like some communication is going on between the lone tree on the left and the group of trees on the right of the pond.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Absolutely love this shot.I have visited Scotland on numerous occasions, but have still not been to Rannoch Moor.This might just inspire me to do so.

Lovely image, EJ - well deserved EP.

Tech query - how did you set up the camera nodal point for this shot - the foreground is quite close.
