This image is taken from the Tonto Trail along the Tonto platform in the Grand Canyon, looking downstream toward Granite Rapids. The Hermit Trail intersects the Tonto in the next couple of valleys on the left.

There is such cool contrast from the foreground rocks to the canyon walls. Awesome composition. Love it!

It's a great composition from an excellent spot to also get a good view of the river while still at elevation. The color palette you chose for this image is quite unique for pictures of the canyon.
