The Seven Devils are part of the Hells Canyon area that spans eastern Oregon and western Idaho. I was driving through on my way home from Boise and figured a long, backcountry detour was in order. I'd been wanting to check the area out anyway. After some exploring, I found myself on a fire lookout peak called Heaven's Gate. I sat up here for 5 hours waiting for the harsh light and haze to give way to some golden light. Unfortunately, the heavy winds blew most of the clouds through. I shot what I got. This is the first pano I've done.
Nikon D750 Nikon 14-24 2.8 ISO 100 f/13 1/40 sec. 7 images stitched in LR, processed in LR and PS. Thanks for checking it out! |
