Well I pretty much just sit back and view for the most part and some times I will post a comment. Today I thought I would post an image. Some of you know but some do not, most of my time is over at Photomigrations. However I love some of the landscape work here.

This particular shot was taken up at Mills Lake in RMNP. After being disappointed with the quality of light and very high winds trying to shoot the lake with peaks in the background, we had decided to leave. Well before we got very far, I noticed the rich light of the sunset lit peaks being reflected by the creek flowing out of Mills Lake. I had about 20min of quality shooting and ended up being really pleased with the choice to hike in.

Shot with a D60 and a 17-40mm f/4 cloudy wb.

Thanks for looking.

Brent, nice scene, with incredible colors! The rocks do seem to have a bit of a blue cast though. It looks like being in this spot was a good choice!

A very pretty scene. I like the touch of autumnal colors and the glowing reflections.

I like this shot very much and I actually like the blue cast on the rocks. It lends to the overall mood of the picture. I don't think I would change a thing.

I like this image. The reflections in the water and the rocks are very nice. I would like the blue cast to be toned down a little, however.

I like both versions. The first gives me the feeling that winter is on the way with its coolness. The second maybe a bit more natural. Love the golden reflections.

Great composition and the light on the water is fantastic.
