I've been noticing lately that many of your landscape images were taken at F22 (or F16) and was wondering why you chose those settings, as you have always mentioned diffraction occurring at those apertures in other posts. Is it to include some very close FG elements and you had no other choice? Normally you would recommend shooting at F8 or F11 at most. Just curious! Nice image by the way E.J.

Not many, just 2, and they have something very important in common - the starburst.  It is created by a point or near point source of light going through a small aperture and diffracting.  The place where aperture iris blades meet, give you the starburst.

Ah, a starburst phase :)
It works here, and the location is amazing.

A neat starburst that adds great depth to this image.
