Crockett Falls

Lawrenceburg, TN

Canon 1D MkIV
Tamron 17-35 @ 22mm
f/11, 0.6 sec
iso 100

Comments, constructive criticism, and re-posts always welcome.
In particular:
Too bright or dark?
Whites OK?
Should I have gotten higher for more of the upstream river?
Composition?
I'm struggling with landscape stuff, and trying to learn.

Thanks.

I really like this esp the greens and the shutter speed chosen for that nice water texture.
Nice detail too!

I think your self critique hit on several good areas!
Brightness is OK
Whites...perhaps a slight bump up
Higher?...if possible, yes to avoid the flat plateau upstream.

All in all, still a very fine image.

Thank you both. This is a tidge darker than my original; not sure how I did that.

Beautiful this waterfall and really wonderful the place, I would like to be there.
I really like the point of recovery because it gives a good perspective of all the small jumps of water,
I agree with John for the chosen shutter speed because it gives the water a pleasant silky effect and,
perhaps yes, I would have raised very little whites to make them stand out a little.
But it is still a gorgeous shot masterfully captured.
I would like a whole wall with this image.
