This is one that is best viewed against the darker b/g.
A good depiction of impending ice off.
The tangle of roots tends to fight with the f/g snow/ice for attention

Thank you, John. I really appreciate your feedback. That fresh perspective and critical eye is tremendously helpful. I can definitely see how the roots draw the eye away. I need to work on not trying to cram too many elements into my shots. Looking back, I would have been better served to either make the roots the whole subject or eliminate them from the composition all together.
