This is a small area in Venice, Florida. I went looking for Scrub Jays this AM and managed to find a few. They're increasingly harder and harder to find. Here's another landscape of Florida scrub.

It's a pleasing image.

A couple of suggestions for improvement: Can you give the sky a bit more punch with some selective contrast and/or saturation boosting? Also, not something you can fix digitally, but the bottom of the image seems cut-off to me. The bases of the trees and those reddish plants are missing, and that is slightly jarring to my eye.

Nice elements in this Harvey, especially those clouds! Agree with Paul about a little more punch to the sky color, but not much. I think I would try a little cropped off the bottom giving those trees a completely unanchored look. Might be a no-no from good comp rules standpoint but I think it'd be okay. This has sort of a minimalist look to it that I really like.

I agree with Paul that the foreground looks a bit cut off. The image is nice but compared to some of the beauties that you've posted here recently, it's not up to that level.
