Mt. Picacho (AZ)

Well, the massive poppy bloom was gone, but I found a few; I liked the opposing diagonals of the mountains and the blooms, and the saguaro.

I'm trying to learn landscapes; Here I was fighting high dynamic range and subject motion in the breeze; probably par for the course with landscapes (right?)

2 images focus stacked, lots of experimenting in post-processing (CS6)

It's a very nice scene but the processing is very obvious and unnatural looking. The ground has too little contrast and the shadow areas are a purple/magenta color. The sky is a bit oversaturated and shows bot unnatural dark areas near the top of the rocks and unnatural light areas. I think you have all of the makings of a really good photograph from the two frames you took but the processing needs some work. See your PM's ;)

Agree completely with EJ's comments.
A great image that could be made even better with some reprocessing.
