One foggy morning in South Florida. I was driving early morning North to Orlando (Disney Parks) when I saw the sun raising from the east, there was a short distance in the road where there was a lot of fog. I never saw anything like this in South Florida, so I told my wife to get up and look out the window. Her first impression was "WOW! you should take a picture Maxis". I was going 80 mph and I was like OK  , I stop my car and walk like a mile north on I-95 looking for better composition, people were looking at me like if I was crazy (a guy with a tripod and camera very early in the morning and walking north in I-95 :? ) so I came up with this one first.

There will be 5 pictures I will show here in NSN in my series. I hope you like them, comments are welcome please!

Canon EOS-3, Canon 100-300mm USM, Tripod, handheld light meter and wet :?

Very nice. I've been uncomfortable with stopping on interstates and doing this. You've given me some more courage.

For sure worth the walk. This has a great feel of morning making me want to make a trip to the coffee pot :D Your exposure is great to where the fence does not show up distracting from the subject.

The colours, mood, and composition of this are all great! Good Job!

I didn't see the fence until the third time I looked at it, it's large in the frame, but hidden in the mist... I think the fence should put this in the EOH gallery, though.

Maxis,

You are one brave man that's for sure! The image is gorgeous. I'm too much of a chicken to stop on interstates but I have been tempted many times. Can't wait to see more of this series.

I like everything about this except that darned fence. Cropping it out loses the horizontal wisp of fog but I still think I like it better that way. Can't wait to see more of these.

Yes, my wife tells me that all the time. The reason I include the fence is because I like the way it takes you into the sun or picture.

I tell you I don't know why, but I don't think twice about it. When I see the shot? I got after and I don't care, sometimes I think I'm going to kill my self one of these days  . When I was in Colorado I set up my tripod inside the river. The water was almost half away of the tripod (3 feet) .

Thanks for the comments!
