Runoff Impressions

Runoff from the Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park. Forgot my ND filter in the bag so had to make use of somewhat ungainly apertures but sometimes you have to work with what you have.

Canon 1D X; 70-200/2.8 L IS II USM lens; 1.4TCII extender at 235mm; 1/10 sec at f/25; ISO 100; Tripod

Neat...tough to get a sense of scale.
Looks better against the darker b/g.

Know exactly where this is and have very similar pictures taken years ago. I like details like this.
