Below Yaki Point, Grand Canyon. Two images manually focus stacked.

I went out on a rather precarious limb to get this image. With goretex snow pants, boots, and crampons, I scuttled out upon this ledge not knowing what I would find. The Canyon through this small window drew my attention and I wanted to get the foreground as well as the far-away canyon.  Focus breathing was more pronounced at f7.1 and the auto stack feature in Photoshop left the majority of the image blurry. So hand blending was my only option.

Novel idea -- good work on the manual blending. The arid background is a perfect foil for the snow-laden branches.

An interesting and unique composition. Good job on the exposure blend.
