This supercell thunderstorm was photographed on the western Great Plains of northwestern Oklahoma in late May 2016. Post-sunset twilight is a wonderful time to photograph both the cloud structure of the thunderstorm along with lightning associated with it. In post, I darkened the fg to silhouette as that bottom 10% of the frame didn't add to the image. Usually with storms after sunset, I will set the horizon like at 10 or 20% from the bottom if it's an uninteresting fg. Please left-click for the better 1100px resolution.
