Flying over the rugged and remote Devils Canyon in northern Wyoming. Taken out the window of a Super Cub a good friend of mine owns.

Great shot and a different view, for sure! Have you tried Photoshop CC haze filter yet? It's located in the ACR tools and might just help in removing most (if not all) of the inherent haze in these types of photos. I did a similar shoot over Mt. Katahdin here in Maine and that haze filter saved my butt. When you get a chance, give it a try - you will be pleasantly surprised!

I'm aware of the haze filter.... I'll give it a try on this image and the others from this shoot.  Thanks!

Wow, that's a stunning view. Looks good without the upper lighter section cropped too, but the depth and distance that part gives adds nicely to the image.
