Welcome to Naturescapes!!!...and the landscape gallery.

A wonderful first post....nice lines, good depth and nice deep blue sky.
Best viewed against a dark b/g.
A slight bit of magenta in the upper right...

Great leading lines! Makes me want to follow them around to see what's behind the bluff on the right. A destination still on my bucket list.

Thanks Gary! The Wave is such an amazing location, and I was fortunate to have stellar light on this occasion.

Thanks Joe! This view is actually known as the Second Wave. Around that corner to the east is the more popular main formation. It's a bit challenging getting a permit these days, but certainly worth the effort.  -Russ

Very nice photo. It's a great place with an infinite amount of shots that could be taken. This shows the leading lines that you can establish in your photos there very well. If it were me I would shoot this at f/7.1 on a D800E and then focus bracket just to get all of that fine texture recorded that is lost a bit due to diffraction with an f/20 aperture on the 36mp sensor.
