Fog in the Hills

The fog really lays thick over this small town. There are plenty of hills to get higher than the fog and to be in the bright sun before the sun burns through.
the fog seems to be brighter at the top and dirty near the bottom? Wonder if it is because of particulates?

C/C appreciated and a bit loss in downsizing.

I almost think I would like it better without the defoliated tree. I do like the mood of the shot.
