This display right behind the mountain from a Kp index of 6 at nearly 70 degrees North lasted for no more than 15s but fortunately I saw it happening and was able to get the shot.  The Aurora backlighting the cloud the wraps in front of the peak really puts it over the top for me.

Stunningly beautiful capture and what an amazing scene. I absolutely love this!!

Amazing display and capture.
Do love the clouded peak and that the main pulse appears rising from the peak.
Like how the vertical comp accents the pulse.

One of the more unique aurora images I have seen. Supernatural looking the way it appears to rise out of the mountain peak. And as a lover of vertical comps, this one definitely works to accentuate the aurora's pattern.
