I have waited many years to visit the Giant's Causeway, and I was quite excited that would end our Ireland trip there. Until we arrived of course.
Coaches, lots and lots of coaches. People, nothing but people. A vary large, modern visitor centre. After working out that we did not need to pay to go through, payment gives access only to the "express" toilets, cafe, shop and museum we started on the short walk down to the causeway. Not since the last time I went to Oktoberfest have I seen this many tourists. To cut a long story short, we found a place to park the camper for the night and I returned at 5am. Not a soul, just two young weasels playing in the rocks. Unfortunately the sunrise was obscured and the tide going out. If I return I will be better organized.
