After my first climb up to the Old Man of Storr I very nearly decided to shoot the sunrise over the Quiraing but a chance of thick mist put me off and at 4.30am I started the greulling climb (hard work for me anyway).

Sitting all alone atop the mountain watching the spectacle of dawn was well worth the near heart attack :) Luckilly the little Sony and Loxia do not weigh that much!

I have tried to make it colourful but is it too much?

A7R, ISO100, Loxia 21mm, 1/4sec, f11- tripod.

Must have been a magical moment witnessing a sunrise from this point while having clouds above as well as below. Very well rendered.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.
