After our summer trip I had the chance to spend a few days alone, so I drive straight to Skye. First port of call was Elgol to witness, at last, the light.

A7R, 15sec @ f13 ISO100. Processed in LR CC.

Very nice! I too like the light on the FG rocks. Only minor nit for me is the crooked sun reflection on the water not being straight. Any reflection coming off the water would be perpendicular to the level of the water. I hope you don't mind in that I did a real quick correct in PS CC to illustrate what I am referring to:

Wonderful composition and great mood.
A great photograph is absorbed by the eyes and stored in the heart.

Marc, I never really thought about the reflection, thanks!

Morkel, you are right, was expecting to be converting cloudy flat shots to mono not actual sun light ;) Thanks man.

Cheers everyone. :)

Beautiful shot and a pretty impressive sunburst for f/13. What lens was this taken with?

It was with the Loxia 21mm E.J. (forgot to add that earlier). Does impressive sunbursts even if it is not as sharp as I would like.
