This was shot from a helicopter during a custom photo tour I guided last month in South Pantanal. It's an aerial view of the river, with the underwater sandbars showing and creating this interesting pattern.

A very unique and almost mysterious photograph.

Very cool, Octavio. I would consider eliminating the riverbank at top left, though it would be an awkward crop for this shot. I understand that the riverbank gives context and some people might not like the full abstract but to me the scrubby bank and vegetation is not so interesting and pulls my eye away from the rest of the photo, which is super cool! Perhaps you have some shots with alternative framing? :-)

Cheers,
Greg
