Lovely sunset, Jeff.
I could imagine this will look great even without a ND filter.....
Cheers, S.

Hi Jeff, despite the beautiful colors this composition doesn`t work for me. Perhaps including more of the shoreline would have helped.

Me too!

I just tried cropping some off the bottom - up to just below that little rock on the left side frame, that gives enough for a foreground element for me, and still keeps enough of the dark shadow in the lower right corner.  The star here is the sky, so that smaller beach area works well for me - but hey, what do I know!

The sky, colours and technique all come together for a dramatic and beautiful scene Jeff.  Great out of the box thinking!

I think the lack of some anchor (shoreline, foreground) makes me feel kind of dizzy when looking at this image. Even the silhouette trees kind of "moving" itself too. Otherwise, it's a great sunset, and I love those clouds. Thank you for sharing.
